World Youth Day '08

In Frechen, Germany, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI announced to over a million teens, clergy, and adult youth leaders that World Youth Day 2008 will be held in Sydney, Australia! Excitement ensued over the next two years as youth leaders all over the world began planning travel itineraries for their young pilgrims. St. Mary Church, Escondido is among the enthusiastic throngs of pilgrims that are eagerly awaiting this next installment of Pope John Paul II's great legacy.


- Pilgrims - All forms and payments should have been received by now.

We will be meeting 10 minutes before 9 am Mass and will sit together so that we may go up together at the 9am Mass for our Blessing.

We will be meeting at 3pm in the Hall for departure. All family and friends are welcome to send us off.

-If you did not receive the rules packet and the tips for traveling, please contact Melissa.

- Registration of new pilgrims is now OFFICIALLY CLOSED. Please keep the 24 pilgrims, including Father Rich, in your prayers!
